Otago Polytechnic provides three postgraduate midwifery programmes:
These programmes have been designed with practising midwives in mind and at postgraduate certificate and diploma level they are comprised mainly of courses with a strong clinical focus. Each programme leads to the next so you can start off slowly, choosing relevant courses as you go.

To make postgraduate study accessible to midwives we have designed courses to be completed online over seven week blocks. That way you can complete the qualification in short 'bite size' chunks. Complete four courses and you will obtain the Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery Practice.
